Lady Wildcat Soccer Tryout Information – 2018 You must have a High School physical dated after 4/1/17. The pre-season practice dates are January 8 – 11 2018. January 12th is the make-up date.  Practices will run from 3:50 pm – 5:30 pm on the varsity practice field.  These sessions are for student athletes in grades 9 – 12 only. Conditioning

The 2017 Lower State Final was a game of missed chances for the Lady Wildcats.  At several points in the match, they had chances to build on their lead.  There were more scoring chances in the overtime periods but, although the Cats played well, they could not find the net. Next Stop: Lower State Finals On Monday!

Two free kick goals and another stellar defensive effort led the Lady Wildcats to a 2-0 shutout of James Island in Round 3 of the state 5A playoffs.  Next up is Wando as Lexington will host the Lower State finals on Monday evening.  The winner will advance to the 5A championship match on May 13.

The Lady Wildcats opened the post-season right where they left off last spring.  It was a lopsided match against West Ashley, who managed only three shots on goal.  Fourteen Lexington’s offense produced fourteen shots on goal, with six of them slipping through for scores.  The final score was 6-1. Ladies Win 15th Straight!

Lexington wrapped up the regular season on Friday evening with a dominating performance against Flora as their winning streak reached 15 straight.  The Cats outshot the Falcons 20-3.  Goalie Maggie Carpenter chalked up her 10th shutout of the season in the 7-0 final. Ladies Finish Undefeated In Region Matches!

On Tuesday evening, with a convincing 8-3 win over White Knoll, the Lady Wildcats improved to 17-2 overall and finished 12-0 in Region 5. Junior Megan Classer kicked her way into the Lexington High School record book with 2 goals on Tuesday evening against Blythewood.  Classer has now totaled 93 career goals, one better than Ginny Wolf, who played for the Wildcats from 2000-2003.  Wolf was inducted into the LHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
