A similar storyline played out on the baseball and softball fields on Wednesday evening as Wildcat teams were eliminated in their respective Lower State brackets. Both Lexington teams got good pitching performances from their aces but were unable to produce the needed offensive support as they were shut out by stellar pitching from the opposition.
The Wildcat Baseball and Softball teams competed in their respective Lower State Title series’ on Saturday and both suffered disappointing losses.
