Wildcats Qualify At Lower State Individual Meet

Seniors Lead Lexington to Region Win, 54-20

by Jai Couture It was Senior Night for Lexington Wrestling as they hosted Dutch Fork on Wednesday evening.  The team started slow but came back for a big win against their Region rival, 54-20.  All the seniors, Chance Kilcrease, Isaac Manning, Evan Clark, and Torren Hicks had a great night and each won by pin.

Wildcats Win the Marlowe Invitational!

Marlowe Invitational wrestling tournament.  The Wildcats took home 1st place team honors and had several individuals on the podium: Noah Boozer (106 lbs.) 2nd place Michael Bart (113 lbs.)  1st place Coleman Bland (138 lbs.)  1st place Chance Kilcrease (145 lbs.)  1st place

Wrestlers Turn In Strong Performance at Kingsley Classic

by Jai Couture Wildcat wrestlers traveled to Fort Mill last over the weekend to compete in the 2018 Kingsley Classic Individuals Tournament.  Lexington’s experienced upper weight classes had a strong performance.  The following wrestlers placed in the event: Chance Kilcrease (145 lbs.):  3rd Isaac Manning (160 lbs.):  1st Evan Clark (182 lbs.):  4th Torren Hicks

Wrestlers Defeat Wando, Mid Carolina

by Jai Couture Lexington hosted a dual meet on Tuesday evening against Wando and Mid Carolina.  Against Wando, the Wildcat were dominant and won 53-18.  Mid Carolina was next.  Lexington was almost perfect, winning 78-6.  They will compete next this weekend in the Kingsley Classic at Fort Mill High School.

Wrestlers Finish 4th at Yellow Jacket Duals in Georgia
