Girls and Boys Race Past Talented Fields to XC Wins!

On Wednesday evening at Chapin’s Crooked Creek Park, both Lexington Varsity teams raced to team wins. The Lexington Lady Wildcats ran away from a deep and talented field to win the Lake Murray Invitational.  Senior Sarae Rufener was 1st in a field of 162 competitors with a time of 19:04.  Eighth grader Lydia Metz took 3rd place in 19:19.  Lexington easily outdistanced the second place team, Riverside, by 58 points.
