Still Perfect and Lower State Bound! Lexington 61, Conway 49

In front of a raucous, near capacity crowd, Lexington eliminated Conway and moved on to play in the Lower State final.  It was another record-setting night as the Cats notched their 29th straight win.  The group has not lost a game since February 14, 2018.  The victory was also number 637 for Coach Bailey Harris

Beat Down in L-Town: Lexington 64, Goose Creek 40!

Terrell Simmons of Goose Creek made 2 quick buckets to open the Round 2 playoff game at Lexington on Saturday evening.  From there, the Wildcats exerted a stifling defense and disciplined offense to post a blowout win and advance to Round 3.  It was a 24 point margin at the final buzzer, 64-40. Wildcats Streak Into Round 2 with 27th Straight Win!

On Wednesday evening Lexington punched a ticket to Round 2 of the state 5A playoffs, and in doing so kept “the streak” alive at 27 straight games.  The Cats survived a slow start as they eliminated the South Florence Bruins, 43-33. Cardiac Cats: Lexington 58, River Bluff 56!

Six nights ago, Lexington made an improbable comeback against Dutch Fork and got the game winner from Mason Carver with 0.4 seconds remaining in the game.  Tonight at River Bluff, the Wildcats found themselves down by as many as 10 points in the 2nd half to top-level competition.  Once again, they pieced together a rally. 

25-0 and REGION CHAMPIONS!

For the first time since 2013, Lexington boy’s hoops are Region Champions!  And for the first time ever, the team is 25-0 after an easy night at Chapin.  The final score on Tuesday night was 61-37, similar to the 68-39 Wildcat win when the 2 teams met on January 18 at Lexington.
