Girls and Boys Will Race For XC State Titles!

Lexington Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country teams qualified for the 5A State Championship races to be held on Saturday at the Springdale Racecourse in Camden.  Seven teams each from the Upstate and Mid State and 6 teams from the Lower State punched their tickets by placing in their respective qualifiers.  The 5A races are scheduled

XC Teams Are Both Region Champions!

Both the Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country teams ran to Region championships on Tuesday evening.  For the boys, it was the twelfth consecutive title.  The girls were winners for the first time since 2012.  Both teams will compete in the State Qualifier race in Camden on November 9. One week ago, both the Wildcat boys and girls Cross Country teams qualified for the 5A State Championship races.  This Saturday morning, they joined 19 other 5A teams to race the 5 kilometer course at Sandhills Research Park in the final and biggest race of the season.
