Playoff Win: Boy’s Soccer 3, Fort Dorchester 2!

In Round 1 of the 5A State Playoffs, Lexington stormed to a 3-0 lead and hung on at Fort Dorchester to win 3-2.  The victory allows the Wildcats to host a 2nd Round match on Thursday.  For the 4th time this season, they will face Spring Valley who upset Carolina Forest.  All 3 previous meetings

Exciting Season Ends With 16 Wins

Lexington’s 2017 season ended in the 2nd Round of the state 5A playoffs on Thursday with a 3-0 loss at Wando.  The Wildcats defeated West Florence 4-1 in Round 1. After a record of 11-13 in the 2016 season, Lexington bounced back by winning 16 matches, losing 8 and tying 2.  They compiled a record

Shutout: Lexington 3, Irmo 0!

The Lexington boys are set for a showdown on Tuesday that will send the winner to the top of the Region 5 standings.  Last night, they posted a shutout of the Irmo Yellowjackets to improve to 11-3 overall and 6-2 in Region matches.  Earlier in the week, River Bluff lost their first of the season

Cats Notch 10th Win At White Knoll!

After a scoreless first half, Lexington closed out their 10th victory of the season with a 2-0 win at White Knoll.  They are now 10-2 overall and 5-1 in region matches. With 14 minutes to play, Sam Plumer’s shot just inside the left post found the net to put the Cats up 1-0.  Adam Baker

Boys Beat Blythewood 3-1!

Senior captain Sam Plumer led his team to a 3-1 win Friday evening at Wildcat Stadium.  It was Lexington’s 9th victory in 10 matches.  They also improved their Region 5 record to 4-1. In the 11th minute, Plumer gave the Cats a 1-0 lead when he found the net off an assist by Josh Bruinsma. 

Boys Stay Unbeaten With Win Over Irmo!

On Tuesday night, the Wildcats made it 7 in a row to open the 2017 season.  At Irmo High School they edged the Yellowjackets by a final of 1-0.  Lexington is 7-0 overall and 2-0 in Region 5. Junior forward Bryan Santoyo scored his first goal of the spring in the 31st minute.  Senior midfielder

As they prepare for Region competition, Wildcat Soccer is 5-0.  On Wednesday evening on their home field, Coach Will Getty’s team came back from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Fort Mill. Cats Kick Competition!

The 2017 Cats Kick Cancer Kickoff Classic was marked by great weather, big crowds, and a Lexington Wildcat championship.  In 4 games over the weekend, the host team held their opponents to just 1 goal.
