Wildcats Whip Warriors In Lower State Opener!

Lexington scored all 5 of their runs in the first 3 innings and held on to outlast Wando in Game 1 of the Lower State series.  In the other Lower State matchup, River Bluff blanked Dutch Fork 5-0.  The Wildcats will travel to meet the Gators on Saturday at 1:00.  Also on Saturday the Silver

Region Champions!

Lexington pitcher Jonathan Howlett followed up a no-hitter against Flora last week with a strong, 3-hit shutout to give Lexington the Region 5 title.  It is the 16th Region championship since 1990 and the 1st since the Cats won 3 consecutive in 2012, 2013, and 2014.  Howlett went the distance, striking out 13 Blythewood hitters.
