Lexington Sweeps At Wildcat Cheer Classic!

On Saturday, Lexington hosted the annual Wildcat Cheer Classic.  This year’s competition featured 32 teams from Rec, Middle School, JV, and Varsity levels.  The afternoon session featured several top 5A programs.  In the end, Lexington High School captured both the JV and Varsity titles.  They will compete again in the Lake Murray Invitational this Saturday at Chapin

Due to the threat of winter weather today and tonight, the Girl’s and Boy’s home basketball games against Saluda High School have been rescheduled.  They will be played at Lexington High School on Saturday afternoon with the girls tipping off at 2:00 PM and the boys scheduled to start at 3:30. After a nearly flawless performance in the 5A State Championship meet at the Colonial Life Arena, Wildcat Cheerleaders again brought home medals and a trophy.  They finished in the runner-up position, just 2 points out of the top spot in the field of 16 teams who qualified for the competition.
