Scott Thomas

Head Athletic Trainer

Scott Thomas takes over as head athletic trainer with the retirement of Damone Leaphart.  For the past 4 years, Scott was an assistant athletic trainer at White Knoll High School.  From 2005-2014, he was the head athletic trainer at Batesburg-Leesville.  He earned his masters degree from the University of  Tennessee in sports management and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay in athletic training.  Coach Thomas is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist and is recognized as a National Board Certified teacher in career and technology education.  Scott, his wife Erin, and their daughter Alana reside in Lexington.

Chelsea Harms

Athletic Trainer

Coach Harms begins her second year with the Wildcats.  She is a graduate of Ridge View High School and served as student athletic training aide for the Blazers.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Winthrop University in Rock Hill.  Upon graduation, Chelsea served as an athletic trainer, the last at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, NC.  Coach Harms also teaches sports medicine at Lexington High School.

Jonathan Jenkins

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Coach Jenkins is a graduate of the University of South Carolina athletic training program.  He is a military service member with 15 years of service, 9 of which were spent in active duty.  He currently serves as a United States Army reservist stationed at Fort Jackson.  Jonathan and his wife Amanda live in Lexington.
