On January 14, Lexington opened Region play as they eked out a 43-42 win over White Knoll. In the rematch Friday evening, the Wildcats got down early by as many as 20 points and their 4th quarter comeback attempt came up short as they took the loss by a 52-41 margin. The overall record now stands at 13-9 with a 3-2 mark in Region 5 play.
Cam Scott led the way in scoring for the Cats with 18 points, Adin Daniels added 8, and Keldric Bouknight dropped in 6.
Lexington will host Dutch Fork in another key Region matchup next Friday at 7:30.
