Bryant’s 20 Points Leads Lexington Over White Knoll, 62-55

Ashley Ridge Downs Lexington Wrestlers in Lower State Final

Ashley Ridge defeated Lexington 33-25 on their home mats in the Lower State Wrestling Championship on Wednesday night.  They will advance to the 4A State Championship Duals this Saturday.  For the Wildcats, Preston Painter won a major decision 12-4 at 152 lbs.  In the heavyweight division, Aaron Austin recorded a pin.  Lexington Wrestlers will compete

Boys Win Key Region Matchup With South Aiken In OT, 69-64

Lady Wildcats Blow Out South Aiken on Senior Night

The Lady Wildcats surrendered only 1 point in the 1st quarter and 2 in the 2nd to take a 33-3 halftime lead.  This allowed Coach Molly Goodrich to give playing time to all 11 girls.  The Cats breezed to a 65-32 win to improve to 17-6 and hold on to a share of the Region lead

Wrestlers Advance To State Semis With Win Over Stratford

Lexington wrestlers prevailed 42-33 over Stratford in the 3 round of the State Duals on Monday evening.  They move on to the state semifinals where they will travel to Ashley Ridge on Wednesday.  Ashley Ridge eliminated Dutch Fork 44-20.  In the other semifinal match, Boiling Springs meets Dorman.  The finals will be held at Dreher High
