Lady Cats Win “Pink Out”

by Coach Brandon Smith The Lady Wildcat Girls Golf Team have won the 10th Annual Smith Memorial “Pink Out” Tournament.  The Wildcats posted a score of 322 to best 5A contenders Boiling Springs and Blythewood by 7 shots. Junior Gracyn Burgess led the team with an even par 72 to finish in 2nd place individually.

Boys Swim To Region Title! Girls 3rd!

by Wynee Rich Wildcat Boys Varsity Swimming had reason to celebrate on Saturday as they reclaimed their Region 5 Championship title in Augusta, topping tough opponents River Bluff and Spring Valley, by a score of  230 – 201 – 190. The Girls, with added depth from a year ago, swam well, placing third in a close battle

UPDATE: Football vs. Dutch Fork Rescheduled For Nov. 4th

Due to the weather threats posed by Hurricane Matthew, Lexington Varsity Football was originally rescheduled for Monday, but today both schools agreed to play the game on Friday November 4 at 7:30 PM at Wildcat Stadium.  The Wildcats will play next at Blythewood as originally scheduled on October 13.

Golfers Great Again!

The Lady Wildcat Golf Team was victorious at Westcott Plantation on Sunday in a field of 15 teams. The Cats won by 3 strokes over Greenville with a total team score of 318. Karlee Vardas shot a 75 and earned all tournament honors. Isabella Rawl shot 80 while Kennedy Gooding shot a personal best 81

XC: Big Day At Low Country Invitational

Lexington Wildcat runners scored big at the Low Country Invitational Saturday Morning at Johns Island.  The Boys ran to a 1st place finish in a field of 45 varsity teams.  The Girls finished 4th of 32 varsity teams in their race. Wildcat Boys were led by senior Weston Hutto who finished 4th overall in 16:38. 

Defending State Champs Open With Win!

Both the Lexington Varsity and JV teams scored wins in the Wildcat Cheer Classic Saturday afternoon.  The teams will compete in the Battle at the Bluff next Saturday at River Bluff High School.
