5th Consecutive Region Championship!

For the 5th consecutive season, the Wildcat Boys are Region Champions.  They defeated runner-up Blythewood by 20 strokes.  Lexington’s Mavrick Mullinax was the tournament medalist, shooting a +7 151 over the two rounds at Leesville’s Ponderosa Golf Club.  Next up is the Lower State Championship scheduled for Monday, May 7th. The outcome was never in doubt.  Lexington captured a District championship Monday evening with an 8-2 decision over West Florence.  It was their 20th win against 6 losses.  The Cats now continue as one of the final four teams to compete for the Lower State Championship.  They open competition at home on Thursday against Wando

Cat Comeback Ruins Bruins!

After three innings of play at South Florence, the Bruins held a 3-0 lead in the 5A district playoffs.  The Lexington bats that accounted for 17 runs two days earlier against Stratford, came alive in the 4th.
