LIVE BROADCAST: Ladies Hoops vs. Dutch Fork for Region Championship

Lexington and Dutch Fork ladies will break a Region tie tonight (Friday) when they meet on River Bluff’s neutral court.  The game will determine the Region 5 champions and the runners-up.  This game will be broadcast LIVE on the Wildcat Sports Net. Cardiac Cats: Lexington 58, River Bluff 56!

Six nights ago, Lexington made an improbable comeback against Dutch Fork and got the game winner from Mason Carver with 0.4 seconds remaining in the game.  Tonight at River Bluff, the Wildcats found themselves down by as many as 10 points in the 2nd half to top-level competition.  Once again, they pieced together a rally. 

Lady Cats Chomp Gators, 69-27!

The Lady Wildcats completed the regular season on Thursday evening with a blowout at River Bluff, 69-27.  After getting off to a 20 point lead in the 1st quarter, Coach Molly Goodrich was able to give the entire available squad significant playing time.  Olivia Thompson scored 19 for the Cats while Claire Tarlton added 12

25-0 and REGION CHAMPIONS!

For the first time since 2013, Lexington boy’s hoops are Region Champions!  And for the first time ever, the team is 25-0 after an easy night at Chapin.  The final score on Tuesday night was 61-37, similar to the 68-39 Wildcat win when the 2 teams met on January 18 at Lexington.
