Basketball Seasons End In Playoffs

For the second straight season, the Lady Wildcat basketball season came to an end in round 2 of the state playoffs at Goose Creek.  The top rated Gators advanced with a 60-35 win.  Junior Olivia Thompson, averaging 21 points per game was held to just 9.  Alanna Langford led the Cats with 13 points.  Chelsea Davis

Basketball Teams Headed To The Playoffs!

Both the Girl’s and Boy’s Varsity Basketball teams are headed to the post-season playoffs which begin this week! By virtue of a 3rd place Region finish, the Lady Wildcats will host Socastee on Tuesday the 13th at 6:00 PM.  The winner of this first round game will advance to play at Goose Creek on Friday

B-Team Baseball Roster Announced

Tonight, Coach Brian Hucks and his staff announced that the following players have made the Lexington Baseball B-Team.  All members of the roster should report to practice tomorrow at 5:00 PM. Jacob Brasseur: All Time Wildcat Best!

Last February 25th, Jacob Brasseur won the individual state wrestling title at 113 lbs.  It was only the 12th time a Lexington Wildcat won a championship in any weight class.  Previously, Brasseur had finished 3rd as a freshman and runner-up as a sophomore. Jacob Brasseur entered the 2017-18 season with a career record of 157-7.

Olivia Breaks All-Time Scoring Record in Wildcat Win!

With 14 points Friday evening at Blythewood, Lexington junior Olivia Thompson became the top scorer in Lady Wildcat history.  Her current total of 1314 surpassed Erica Mayshar’s 1304.  Mayshar played from 2004-2007.  With the remainder of this season and her entire senior year to go, Olivia has a shot at Shaq Roland’s 1772 career points,
