Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Cats Complete Sweeps of River Bluff and White Knoll


This week, Lexington Baseball completed season sweeps of River Bluff and White Knoll with two convincing wins, 14-8 over the Gators on Monday and 13-1 over the Timberwolves on Thursday.  The Cats had previously defeated each team twice earlier in the season.

With the wins, Lexington improves to 16-4 overall with an 8-2 mark in Region 5.  They have clinched one of the two playoff spots and hope to enter the post-season as the Region Champ.  As of now, they are tied with Dutch Fork who has an identical 8-2 Region 5 record.  The title will likely be decided on Thursday when Lexington hosts Dutch Fork at 6:30 PM.
