Wildcat Hoops made it 3 in a row in Charleston, winning the 52nd edition of the Modie Risher Classic.
Lexington defeated the host Bulldogs of Burke High School in the final by a 74-54 margin. Senior Dylan Rivers and 8th-Grader Cam Scott scored 22 apiece to lead the Cats.
The Wildcats advanced to the tournament final with a 49-39 win over Summerville on Friday. In that contest, Senior Adin Daniels led the way with 20 points.
Cam Scott was named the tournament MVP, averaging 19 points. Adin Daniels made the All-Tournament team with an average of 15 points and 12 rebounds in the 3 games.
With the win, Lexington improves their season record to 10-5. They will face the Byrnes Rebels in the Lexington Showcase this Saturday at 5:00 PM.
