Boys Varsity Football · Stellar Football Season Ends at Fort Dorchester


In first round playoff action, Lexington held the potent Fort Dorchester offense to consecutive 3-and-outs to start the game but the Patriots scored on their next 3 possessions to take an 18-0 lead.  They added a score just before halftime and another midway through the 3rd quarter.  The Wildcat points came from the foot of Brady Bolin who hit from 34 yards out just minutes into the final quarter,

Fort Dorchester managed just 221 yards of total offense but Lexington posted just 158 yards.  Ahmad Bynem-Scott ran for 95 yards on 19 carries.  Taylor Mathias added 38 yards on 13 carries.  Anthony LaRusso and Alex Reed each caught 3 passes for the Wildcats.

The 31-3 loss closes out a successful 2019 football season.  Lexington finishes with a record of 7-4, having beaten 5 playoff teams.
