Boys Varsity Basketball · After 19 Games, Boys Still Perfect!

The 1995-1996 Wildcat squad closed their season with 19 straight victories, capturing a state title.  This year’s team has begun with 19 in a row after facing another non-region test at Pelion on Thursday evening.  Coach Harris was pleased with the Wildcats’ continued success, “I’m proud of my guys.  It was a very physical win over a tough Pelion team.”

Mason Carver scored 21 and tallied 8 rebounds.  He now needs 35 to reach the career 100-point plateau.  Bradley Foulks turned in a double-double performance with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

In their 19 games, Lexington is averaging 66 points per game while surrendering an average of 45.  They will get back to Region 5 play with home games against Dutch Fork next Tuesday and Chapin on Friday.
