Wildcat swimmers had a great home meet last night with the Varsity Boys knocking out Irmo in a landslide – final score LHS 109, Irmo 61.
The Varsity Girls fought tough and after a tied meet finally got bested with a final score – Irmo 90, LHS 80.
Some notable times were:
Jenna Couture with a first place finish in the Girls 200 Meter Freestyle with a time of 2:31.52.
Grace Kolb had amazing times in multiple events bringing in a time of 29.18 in the Girls 50 Meter Freestyle and 1:06.34 in the Girls 100 Meter Freestyle, both first place finishes!
Morgan Baker blew away the girls 400 Meter Freestyle with a first place finish time of 5:23.66.
Girls Varsity 400 Meter Freestyle Relay was a win by 7 seconds with a finish time o f 4:42.54 by Morgan Baker, Maggie Head, Jenna Couture and Grace Kolb.
Halie Stoertz finished 2nd in the Girls 100 Meter Breaststroke by a tenth of a second with a finish time of 1:25.45!
Tucker Hewson had amazing times in multiple events bringing in a time of 26.58 in the Boys 50 Meter Freestyle and 59.60 in the Boys 100 Meter Freestyle, both first place finishes! The LHS Boys swept the 100 Meter Freestyle with a second place finish by Rence Coker and a third place finish by Max Boscaglia.
Jackson Hardy knocked out the competition in the Boys 100 Meter Butterfly with a finish time of 58.63, First!
Ray Fairbank pulled out a win in the Boys 100 Meter Breaststroke with a first place finish of 1:14.48
The LHS Varsity Boys swept Boys 200 Meter Freestyle with James David with a first place finish in the with a time of 2:22.72, Vince White finishing second and Nate Halloran finishing third!
The LHS Varsity Boys swept the Boys 200 Meter IM with Jackson Hardy at first place with a finish time of 2:30.24, Morgan Durnford finishing second and Rence Coker finishing third!
The LHS Varsity Boys swept the Boys 400 Meter Freestyle Relay! Relay team in first with a finish of 4:13.58 was Kyle Kissner, Tucker Hewson, James David and Jackson Hardy. Second place team, Max Boscaglia, Elijah Coker, Ray Fairbank, and Rence Coker. Third place team, William Cronin, Adam Harries, Vince White and Nate Halloran.
