Girls Varsity Softball · Montgomery’s Walk-off Wins It For The Wildcats!

Through seven innings, both pitchers, Allie Light of Lexington and Morgan Scott of Dutch Fork, held their opposition scoreless.  The Lady Foxes threatened in the top of the eighth with two singles but stranded runners at second and third.  In the home half, Sarah Gordon led off with a single to right field.  Denaud Santini followed with an infield single.  Two batters later, with runners at first and second, delivered a single to center field, scoring Gordon and giving the win to the Lady Cats.
