Multiple Teams · Boys And Girls Qualify For State Championship Races!


Lexington Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country teams raced Saturday in the Mid State Qualifier.  The mission was to finish as a top 7 team, and punch a ticket to the State Championship races next Saturday, November 4 and the Sandhills Research Park.  For both teams it was “mission accomplished.”  Wildcat boys captured 1st place, while the girls finished 3rd.  Fifteen teams competed in both races.

Lexington boys were led by senior Thomas Sutcliffe who finished 4th overall while the girl’s top finisher was freshman Ava Grace Fowler who crossed the line in 6th.
