Multiple Teams · Boys Win 10th Straight County XC Title! Girls 2nd!

On Wednesday evening at Lexington, the Wildcat boys captured their 10th consecutive county championship.  Down the stretch, both William Johnson and Thomas Sutcliffe sprinted by Chapin’s Jaden Kingsley to secure the Cat win.  Chapin finished second in the field that also included River Bluff, Dutch Fork, Pelion, White Knoll, Gray Collegiate, and Brookland-Cayce.

Dutch Fork ran to the title in the girl’s race with individual finishes of first, second, fourth, eighth, and ninth.  Led by 8th grader Jessie Brandenburg, Lexington finished as the county’s runner up.
