Junior Megan Classer kicked her way into the Lexington High School record book with 2 goals on Tuesday evening against Blythewood.  Classer has now totaled 93 career goals, one better than Ginny Wolf, who played for the Wildcats from 2000-2003.  Wolf was inducted into the LHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.

The Lady Wildcats won their 12th consecutive match by a 3-0 final over the Lady Bengals.  Goalie Maggie Carpenter recorded the 8th shutout of the season for Lexington.

The Cats took control quickly with a goal in the 2nd minute from Mary Katherine Waters.  Later in the 1st half, Megan Classer made it 2-0 with her 92nd career goal.  Brooke Power was credited with the assist.

The record-breaking goal came at 21:37 off a pass from Power.  Classer’s shot made it 3-0.

Lexington is now 15-2 overall and 11-0 in Region 5.  They play at Chapin on Friday eveing and at White Knoll on Tuesday before hosting AC Flora for Senior Night on Thursday at 6:00 PM.
