Senior captain Sam Plumer led his team to a 3-1 win Friday evening at Wildcat Stadium.  It was Lexington’s 9th victory in 10 matches.  They also improved their Region 5 record to 4-1.

In the 11th minute, Plumer gave the Cats a 1-0 lead when he found the net off an assist by Josh Bruinsma.  It was Plumer with another score, his 6th of the season, just 8 minutes later, this time assisted by Adam Baker.  Lexington took a 2-0 lead to the halftime break.

Blythewood got their lone goal in the 2nd half with 25 minutes remaining, but minutes later, a breakaway score by Romyck Folgar sealed the deal.

Lexington will play at Chapin on Monday at 7:00 PM, following the JV match that is scheduled to start at 5:30.  They are back to Region competition on Friday when they travel to White Knoll.
