Golfers Card 3rd Place At Patriot Invitational

The Wildcat Boys Varsity Golf Team is off to a great start! The Cats placed 3rd of 18 teams (93 players) in the Patriot Invitational played at Westcott Plantation in North Charleston on Sunday and Monday. The team shot a 2-day total score of 613, falling short by 3 strokes behind Wando and AC Flora who both scored totals of 610. 4 of the Wildcat Team members carded rounds in the 70s both days!

10th grader, Dillon Hite lead the team with a 2-day total of 145 (74/71) with 11 birdies and secured a 5th place finish. 11th graders Alec Vardas and Connor Patterson both shot 2-day totals of 155 landing them tied for 13th place. Alec Vardas scored 78/77 while Connor Patterson shot 79/76. Eighth grader Maverick Mullinax rounded out the team score with 79/79 for a total of 158 and landed himself in 24th place.

The Wildcats have a scrimmage on Wednesday. Looking forward to what the season has in store for this group! Go Wildcats!
