In the second round of the state 4A playoffs, Lexington traveled to Summerville High School and eliminated the Green Wave, 4 matches to 2.  The Wildcats will play in the Lower State Semi’s on Monday against either West Florence or River Bluff, whose Thursday night match was rained out.

The brackets are pointing the way to a possible Lexington/South Aiken showdown for the Lower State Championship and a ticket to the 4A State Final.  Lexington finished second in Region 5 to South Aiken.  They dropped two both highly competitive meetings this year, 1-5 on March 17 at South Aiken and 3-4 on April 19 at home.
